Tuesday 12th February 2013 recorded another round of bloodshed in Plateau State, when suspected Fulani assailants stormed WAMCO Nigeria Limited, Vom killing four security guards.

ViewPointNigeria investigation reveals that the incident occurred at about 3am, when the suspected assailants snuck up and opened fire on the security personnel. The men of the STF who were on duty at a nearby post, responded swiftly and during a gun duel, fell two of the attackers.

At the time of filing this report, ViewPointNigeria was trying to make contact with the STF spokesman, Salisu Mustapha to confirm the attack and provide further details. 

It would be recalled that a similar attack happened this week in Kassa village of Barkin Ladi LGA, when suspect Fulani marauders shot dead two farmers on their farms on Monday 11th February 2013. These sporadic and isolated attacks have been very frequent in Jos South LGA of the state and  several lives and property worth millions of Naira have been lost.
