The authorities of Barkin Ladi LGA, have told Nigerians to hold the Special Task Force, responsible for the current attacks on residents of the locality –saying they have failed in their responsibility of securing lives and property.
The council raised the alarm yesterday through its deputy chairman Mr.Zakka Gyang, while receiving the gubernatorial flag bearer of the People’s Democratic Party, Senator Gyang Nyam Pwajok, when he visited the council to sympathise with families of those killed during the attacks earlier this week.

The deputy chairman who lamented over the activities of men of the STF said there are strong allegations that some members of the STF were strongly involved in the organised attacks, he then called on the federal and state government to investigate and ascertain the allegations so that those involved in the devilish act will be brought to book.
Zakka who thanked the flag bearer for the visit, said some people were desperate to return the state to its dark old days.
Speaking earlier, the PDP candidate, who was represented by his deputy Arch. Yilji Gomwalk said he was in the council to sympathise with the people of Barkin Ladi LGA and the families of those who lost their lives during the attacks.
Yilji Gomwalk who later visited the families of the slain victims in Barkin Ladi town and Kassa was received by councillors, village heads, relatives and people from the communities.
He described the killings as barbaric and wicked, promising that that government at all levels are doing everything possible to expose the perpetrators of such devilish acts.
He then donated cash to the families to assist them.
