Following ViewPointNigeria’s initial report on the Bomb Blast near Mr. Biggs around Ahmadu Bello roundabout – yet to be confirmed reports from our source in Jos suggests that approximately 31 people have been confirmed dead in the Bomb Blast. Scores of other people were injured at various levels. Some at highly critical and life threatening levels, whilsts some have been at minor and more superficial levels.
Information suggests that the bomb went off in very close proximity to a very dense area, which comprised sellers, traders and customers. At the time of filing in this report, blood was seen splashing on all areas of the street, with shoes, wrappers, bags and other accessories which were deserted by people who fled.
Several corpse were also still littered on the ground as paramedics tried to provide life saving procedure to people still alive. Police and other security agents were seen on scene, directing traffic and assisting people.
This would be the first Bomb Blast since the one in May 2014 which killed over 118 people in Jos
