Plateau PDP raise alarm over plan assassination of members.

The Peoples Democratic Party has uncovered a plot to frame, harass, intimidate and possibly assassinate our notable Members in Bashar District.

The PDP Publicity Secretary in the State Hon. John Akans in a Press Statement signed and issued to Journalists in Jos said, “Plot from our reliable source Was hatched and design for execution in the Palace of the District Head of Bashar Alh Aliyu Adamu Idris.

“The method adopted was to use one Alh Karii who is a renowned terrorist and militia leader in the name of fishing out criminal elements from the District.

“It is also gathered that the District Head of Bashar summoned a meeting with his subordinate Chiefs and ask them to mention criminal elements in their domains for possible elimination. In the meeting they were forced to mention the names of strong PDP Members as supposed criminals to pave the way for their planned harassment, intimidation and elimination by the criminal gang contracted by the District Head as peace committee.

“Notable amongst our members earmarked to be eliminated include, Alh Salisu Jarman Kampani, Alh Ganiyu Kampani, Alh Tijjani Kampani, Dalhatu Abdullahi Gudus, Mawulle Dogon Ruwa and 37 others.

“In this regard, our Party has written a Petition against such Illegal act to the Divisional Police Officer in Wase and copied other relevant agencies.

“As a party we are not against any process of getting rid of criminal elements in our communities as long as it is within the confines of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and relevant laws.

“We are therefore calling on our teeming Members to remain calm and law abiding as the party will follow up with the petition to its logical conclusion for peace to reign in our Communities.

“We, therefore, alert Nigerians and all those who care about life and Democracy that they should hold the District Head of Bashar responsible for any harm that may come to these PDP leaders, or any Chieftain and Members of our Party.

“Nigerians should also hold Alh. Aliyu Adamu and his subordinate chiefs responsible for whatever abduction or physical assault that may result in the death of anybody in Bashar district in the circumstances of the senseless methods the district head has introduced”.a
