The extent of the killings at Gashish, Barkin Ladi  is starting to unravel.

At the last count this morning (Sunday 24^th June 2018) at 10:00am, our contact, Dalyop Choji (Berom Youth-Moulders Association President), who was in the communities has confirmed that over 72 corpses have been recovered with many still being discovered in nearby bushes and rocks.

The BYM president who spoke to correspondent confirmed that 31 corpses have already been recovered from Gashish village, with another 41 from neighbouring villages (Soi, Razat, Nghar, Ruku, Zargwong, Kurra Berrom, Tanabu, Tisan, Kakuruk, Kachin and Shonong).

Other people who spoke to ViewPointNigeria indicated that the expectation is that more corpse will be recovered as the search continues.
