Jos High Court: Senator Jang Arrives Court, as Bail Consideration gets Underway

A very gleeful and cheery Senator Jang arrives the Plateau State High Court for his bail consideration this morning at 8:50 am.

ViewPointNigeria’s correspondents at the Jos High Court have confirmed that Senator Jonah Jang arrived the court this morning at 8:50am in the company of prison officials.

Senator Jang was driven to the high court in a green Toyota Hillux van, accompanied by prison officials and security agents etc. Also in the same van was Mr Yusuf Pam who is also being tried alongside.

At the time of writing this report, the session was already in session and the expectation is that Senator will be granted bail, however several have expressed deep reservations at the strange manner he was denied earlier – suggesting that the trial has gone beyond the law.

Again, Senator Jang was his jovial self, acknowledging supporters with a smile as he arrived the court room.
