“In the first place Latep Dabang is a sacked Chairman of APC in Plateau State, How can you swear in people when you don’t have a certificate of return as Chairman of the State? He asked.
“It is not possible, and therefore that inauguration is illegal.
“There is an information from the National Headquarters of my party that all Excos in all the States would be sworn in simoultaneusly by the National body of the party and there must be a representative from the headquarters, and they have not even decided.
On Nelson Alapa’s claim that he was sent by the national leadership of the party to Chair the inauguration, Gombi said, “The National headquarters would have sent a letter to that effect. Did he present any letter from the National Secretariat? He didn’t.
“So anybody that does not come with a letter from the National Secretariat, is fake and that is what Nelson Alapa is. Gombi stressed.
Earlier at the inauguration of the LG Chairmen of the party, Hon. Nelson Alapa, said, “I want to tell us here today that the National EXCO of our party duly recognise the Exco of Plateau State under the leadership of Hon. Latep Dabang.
Alapa noted that there are bound to be disagreements and protests among members of a political party, saying the party will come out strong.
Also speaking at the inauguration, Hon. Latep Dabang said, “If the Amos Gombi led group’s mission is to destroy what the. ACN, ANPP and CPC suffered to build, we will show them the way out.
“The aim of the group is to factionalize the party, but no matter what happens, we are going to stand as an indivisible unit.
