The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Jos North Local Government Area (LGA) OF Plateau, Dr Danjuma Sanda has restated the council’s commitment to pay all outstanding staff salaries. This is coming amidst protest from staff of the council over non-payment of salaries and benefits.

Sanda who was reacting to the protest stated that he never kept staff salary in a fixed account and that all allegations against him were false. He added that the issue with the payments had to do with last year’s unpaid salaries which he met when he resumed office.
