Prof Yohanna Izam formally takes over from Prof Doknan Sheni as PLASU VC

Professor Yohanna Daniel Izam the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of the Plateau State University Bokkos, today 28^th February 2018 took over the mantle of leadership of the institution from the out going Vice Chancellor, Professor Doknan D Sheni.

At the formal ceremony this morning, members of the university community as well as the general public were in attendance.

Professor Yohanna Izam, who was appointed by Governor Simon Lalong on 19th February 2018 was before his appointment the Head of Department of the Building Department of the University of Jos.

He brings a wealth of experience from his previous administrative roles, including: Commissioner of Works and Housing from 2003 – 2007 and Provost of the College of Arts, Sciences and Technology Kurgwi in 2000 – 2003.
