John Dara one of the presidential aspirant today in Jos calls on the Middle Belt Youths to effectively carry out a massive voter mobilization to change the current political wheel , as that is the only way out to the many problems faced by the region .
Dara who is the Guest Speaker in the middle Youth Summit held in Jos with the topic; political and security situation of the middle belt in Nigeria today ‘the need to Road map’ Challenge the youths to channel their energy towards the interest of the region, He call on the youths to look into the History of Middle Belt and they will understand the recent happenings in the region.
“There would be a better alternative soon” he said it was a wrong thinking for Tinibu to think that the merger with the conservative class of the North and the Bourgeois of the west can be called progressives because there is no progressives in the APC again “the middle Belt has also lost it moment of salvage from the PDP”
To the solutions ,Dara strongly posits the leadership with the minds and philosophy of the region among many
“We must get it right, and it requires sacrifice. We must raise leaders that because a man who only thinks of his tribe cannot lead the middle belt hence we must be cosmopolitan in nature”
Dara also advocates for a strong system in the Middle Belt “you cannot be consistent when there is no system in the Middle Belt”
While speaking to ViewPointNigeria Dara assured Nigerians that if voted into office, work of changing the country will be in motion as he will announce his cabinets on the day of the swearing –in.
Earlier the middle Belt Youth president Comr. Zomal had explained the aim of the summit quoting the many injustice mated on the Middle Belt and the need for unity and solidarity.
Also present, is the chairman of the Middle Belt region Dr Takaya among many dignitaries. The youths are expected to draw the road map to a united middle belt that will chart the way out of the many problems confronting the region.
The participating youths are drawn from different parts of the middle belt from Sothern Borno, Sothern Adamawa and southern Kaduna among many.
