Information trickling in suggests that communities which were severally attacked by herdsmen in the Northern parts of Plateau may have launched a push back, killing two herdsmen and their cattle.

The very unfortunate incident happened on 23rd January 2017 at dusk. Pictures obtained by ViewPointNigeria shows severely mutilated bodies of herdsmen, along with their cattle which were equally not spared.

Speaking, communities in Jos North condemned the actions – saying anyone taking the law into his/her hands should not be spared. They regretted the attacks that herdsmen have meted on citizens, but distanced themselves from any acts of reprisals.
