Jos: Widow Cries Out Over Abduction Of Son by SSS for Converting Muslim Girl to Christianity

A widow Mrs Lydia Istifanus Dafup has cried out over the forceful abduction of her son Engr. Simput Eagle Dafup by men suspected to be from the Department of State Service DSS for allegedly converting one Miss Nabila Umar Sanda Galadima from Islam to Christianity.

Mrs. Dafup made the disclosure while addressing a press conference in Jos said the men who stormed her son premises heavily armed in 5 Hilux van brutalized and torture her son before they whisk him away adding that even passersby were assaulted in the process.

According to her, ” nobody has contacted me or any member of my family as to the where about of my son. I, however, know as a fact that some of the people that were found in the premises with my son and who were also assaulted and brutalized with my son were taken to the Plateau state command of DSS.”

She further stressed “While at the DSS office in Jos, they never met or saw my son there. The men suspected to have whisked my son put a mask on him and the others. The other people who were taken to DSS office in a mask are here with me to confirmed my narration.

The widow while addressing newsmen in tears noted that as a mother and widow she is worried about  the safety of her son stressing that the circumstances that led to the assault, brutalization and subsequent abduction of her son can be better narrated by evangelist Jerry Datim, Joseph Buge and Mrs. Victoria Baleri who themselves are victims.

Speaking in the same vein, Evangelist Jerry Datim who was also taking along with Engr. Simput by DSS said Engr. Simput who was alleged to have converted Miss Nabila met for the first time in Dubai on his way back to Nigeria from UK following which they got talking eventually exchange contact when they got to Nigeria.

According to Evangelist Datim Miss. Nabila was admitted to Bingham University and because of the activities she became interested in Christian faith and got to Engr. Simput and expressed her desires of joining the Christian faith while he asked her if her parent would accept her being a Christian as she found her way to Jos to locate Engr. Simput having schooled in Air force Comprehensive Secondary School Jos.

Evangelist Datim further noted that neither himself or Engr Daftup and any other person who had contact with Miss. Manilla converted her to Christianity and had breached any law of the land.

He challenged the DSS to produce Nabila and put them side by side so that they can ask her if she was forcefully converted to Christian or abducted adding that she is of age and can speak for herself on the matter.
