GNS Pwajok visit’s Riyom LGA, commiserates with community over recent deaths

Senator GNS Pwajok has paid a condolence visit to Riyom Local Government Council to commiserate with the people over the recent mis-haps that happened in the Local Governemnt Area.

Speaking to the Chairperson of the council, Mr. Josephine Piyo – the Senator expressed his sympathy for the recent deaths of the paramount Chief of Riyom LGA and his son, the former Governor of Delta State. He extolled the virtues of the late Chief, saying he lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation. About late Governor Dungs, Pwajok saluted his achievements in politics, governanance and business, saying a true son of the soil has been lost. In closing, the Senator asked God for the repose of their souls.

The Senator also commiserated with the people of Riyom, over the recent attacks in the area -particularly the attacks in the last few days at Shonong, Rim and Jol villages, where scores of people were said to have been killed.
