Information available to ViewPointNigeria indicates that two residents of Wereng-Berom were reportedly ambushed and killed last night at Kum-Wereng village of Barkin Ladi LGA.

The two were declared missing yesterday evening, having not returned from a short trip on their motorcycle – until a search party discovered their corpses within nearby bushes.

Cuts on their bodies suggests that they were macheted in several parts of their bodies and died for severe bleeding.

The names of the victims were given as:

• Christopher Musa Chong (28 years)
• Bulus Dantoro (35 years)

At the time of filing this report, preparations were being made for their burials. Pictures soon to follow.
