The Tiv community residing in Jos, Plateau state are seeking divine intervention to end the ongoing attacks in their villages in Benue state. The community met on Sunday at the NKST church Jos to pray for the end of the incessant killings and destruction of properties and livelihoods.

Reverend Solomon Igyor who led the prayer session called on Christians across to country to use prayers as a weapon to fight the insurgency perpetrated by armed herdsmen and Boko Haram on innocent people. He said it was only prayer that will avert the killings that is threatening the peace of the country.
