The members of Dapar Aid, a charity organization run by young leaders have sympathized with those affected by flood disaster in Houston, Abuja, Benue way state and other parts of the world. In a message made available to ViewPointNigeria, the members said they were truly sorry for the pain the victims were passing through. “Natural disasters are inevitable, but we can do something together to mitigate their impacts. We truly commend the efforts of U.S President Donald Trump for donating $1 million of his own personal funds to the Hurricane Harvey victims as well as Gov. Samuel Ortom of Benue state for the prompt intervention. We equally commend those that helped in arresting the ugly situation in Lokogoma Abuja”. Dapar Aid calls on the government, donor agencies and philanthropists to be engaged in never-ending support for all crisis victims across the world. “The world today is confronted by man-made and natural disasters, these are painful times for humanity. Our effort and commitment to making the world a better place is unstoppable. we will continue to partner in many different ways with visionaries to shape the future of mankind. Let the victims of those disasters accept our deepest sympathy.” The statement reads in part.
