China Zhonghao Nigeria Limited has assured the residents of Jos metropolitan that the eight road projects given to the company by the Plateau state government would be completed in due time.

Its managing director, Zhou Zhenwei, made the pledge in Jos while speaking with newsmen in reaction to incessant complaints by people of the affected communities on the delay and slowness of road construction in their area.

“Before the projects were awarded, there was an official agreement between the Plateau state government and our company to complete the work in one year and the company was committed to ensuring that the work did not exceed the stipulated period,” he said.

He explained that the company was given eight different works which were located at different places, which warranted the work of the roads to be carried out one by one.

“Government has paid us our money and we have to finish the work within one year, and we don’t want to rush the work so that at the end people wouldn’t still complain that we didn’t do the work the way it was supposed to be done.”

He appealed to Jos residents to exercise patience as all hands were on deck to finish the work within the stipulated time frame as stated in the agreement with the state government.
