The Plateau state chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC, Hon. Letep Dabang has called on the former governor of Plateau state and present Senator representing Plateau North senatorial zone Sen. Jonah Jang to consider decamping to the APC in the light of Hon. Edward Pwajok’s defection. Mr. Dabang made the call in Jos Thursday 18th May, 2017 when he was addressing delegates and supporters of Hon. Edward Pwajok who came from Kuru district to receive and stand in solidarity with their Reps member after his decamping to the APC. He said ”I have a good news for Jang and I want you people to carry the message to him. ”Tell him I have his APC membership card with me so we are waiting for him to decamp”. A rapturous applause greeted the statement by the delegates and supporters. It will be recalled that Hon. Edward Pwajok member representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency and former Commissioner of Justice during Jang’s tenure renounced his membership of PDP and officially decamped to APC during house plenary the national assembly Abuja on Wednesday. Reading the letter of his defection by the House speaker Hon. Yakubu Dogara, Mr. Pwajok said the protracted crisis in the PDP made him to decamp.
