The impeachment of former deputy speaker of Plateau state House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Yusuf Gagdi by 18 out of 24 house members has been greeted with condemnation by a group of youths known as ‘Hope for Democracy’. In a call placed across ViewPointNigeria, the leader of the group Comrade Walshak Kefas said ”we are not only condemning but we will mobilize youths in all the 17 Local Governments to stage a peaceful protest against the impeachment of an innocent man who did nothing to warrant this gross injustice.” The visibly angry comrade said further that, ”We have started perfecting plans to showcase our disappointment to the House for this injustice and we will reveal the date for the protest soon.
