Plateau state Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Damishi Sango, has described the APC – led administrations at both federal state and levels as “liars.”
Sango made the assertion in Jos at the PDP interfaith Sallah celebration held at the instance of the state youth leader of the party, Hon. Iliya Zakari.
Represented by the state financial secretary, Mrs. Mary Adar, Sango lambasted the APC – led administration saying; “they thought governance is an easy thing, they have promised Nigerians that they will do a lot of things, but they have failed.”
Sango said they are now; “facing the reality of what is on the ground and they have nothing to offer to Nigerians than hardships, they are liar and their lies are disturbing.”
According to Sango they (APC), thought they have a man who is a political magician that could do miracles but they are liars.”
He urged the PDP youths to maintain their firmness and belief in the PDP, adding that they should continue with the grass mobilization towards resuscitating the party in readiness for the 2019 general elections.
The convener of the gathering who is also state youth leader of the party Hon. Zakari said his office had organized the programme in order “to bring the youth together in the spirit of unity for peaceful coexistence in the state.
He said going by the way the APC is leading the state “one cannot compare the achievement that the PDP had done even under one year of its administration in the state.”
Zakari stated that as youth they will continue to work to bring back the PDP into governance in the state.
“With what the APC is doing, they are already campaigning for the PDP in the state, we need not to tell the People anything as they are seeing it themselves,” he asserted.
Efforts to get the reaction of the state executive of the APC yielded no results as calls to the phone of its chairman Hon. Letep Dabang, was not going through, while a text message sent to him was also not responded to.
