Jos, the Plateau State capital on Wednesday witnessed heavy traffic as notable Christian leaders led by National President of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritserjafor and the much respected leader of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enock Adeboye visited the town to dedicate the new Ebomi 11-storey temple in the heart of Jos. Ahead of the commissioning ceremony, fervent prayers were held for the project, attended by guests from over 40 countries.

Prophet Isa El-Buba, head of the Evangelical Bible Outreach Ministry International, stated in his address that the idea of the project dated back to July 2005 when he conceived the divine inspiration to build a prayer temple for people of all nations.

The event was graced by people from all walks of life including President Goodluck Jonathan, who was ably represented by the Minister for Water Resources, Sarah Ochekpe. In his address, he called on all men of God and spiritual leaders to pray for the country and its leaders, noting that the commissioning of the prayer temple, coming on the heels of his return from pilgrimage, holds significant spiritual lessons for Nigeria.
