Reading a statement on behalf of other defectors, Bagudu said they have had enough of poor performance of the PDP-led government at both state and federal levels and that they were joining the APC to enhance the chances of the party’s governorship candidate for the state, Barrister Simon Lalong, as well as the party’s presidential candidate General Muhammadu Buhari.
Lalong, who attended the press briefing, thanked the nine new members for deciding to swell the ranks of the APC and to brighten his chances of being elected in the February 28 governorship poll.
In his remark, state chairman of the party Latep Dabang assured them of equal treatment in the party.
