The Emir of Lafiya Bare Bari and Chairman Nasarawa State Traditional Council of Chiefs, His Royal Highness Hon Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad I (JSC RTD) has received HRH Dr Selky Kile Torughedi, the Eyewei the 5th of Azzuzuama, Southern Ijaw LGA of Bayelsa State and Amanenawei of FCT, Northern Nigeria during the celebration of the 5th Year Anniversary of Emir since his ascension on the throne.

HRH Dr Selky was at the palace of the Emir of Lafiya and later to the arena in Lafiya to celebrate with the Royal Father along with other respected monarch from across the country such as the the Emir of Keffi, HRH Alhaji (Dr) Chindo Shehu Yamusa (III), the Paramount Ruler of the Jukun Nation, Kwararafa Kingdom, the Aku Uka of Wukari, Manu Ishaku Ada Ali, the Sultan of Sokoto, HRH Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar (III) CFR and hundreds of other monarchs.

The celebration which held from Monday 29th April 2024 to Saturday 4th May 2024 featured various activities and rich display of ancient culture and tradition of the Lafiya Emirate. Homage and tributes were received by the celebrant, HRH Hon Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad I (JSC RTD), Emir of Lafiya Bare Bari.

The Eyewei (V) of Azzuzuama, Southern Ijaw LGA of Bayelsa State and Amanenawei of FCT, Northern Nigeria HRH Dr Selky Kile Torughedi during the occasion prayed for Long Life and Prosperous Reign on the Throne for the Emir of Lafiya. HRH Dr Selky also prayed for the peace and unity of Nigeria and for the safety and prosperity of every territory and kingdom across the country.
