Several others were said to have sustained various degrees of injuries ranging from minor incissions to deep and life threatening conditions. This attacks breaks the fragile peace enjoyed in the area in the past few weeks.

News reaching ViewPointNigeria indicates that Kumbul village in Wase Local Government Area, came under severe attack by nomads, leading to the death of over 5 people and the burning of two churches in the area.

Several others were said to have sustained various degrees of injuries ranging from  minor incissions to deep and life threatening conditions. This attacks breaks the fragile peace enjoyed in the area in the past few weeks.

In the recent past, Wase LGA and Langtang South have come under severe attack by herdmens who commit their dastard acts and escape into Taraba and Nassarawa states. 

Areas within Nasarawa and Taraba state have also come under severe attack by these herdsmen who have continually decimate the local population through guerilla warfare. Just last week alone, over 250 people were killed in Southern Kaduna in two separate attacks, followed by the gruesome murder of approx. 30 people in Taraba state. The perimeter of attacks appear to be stretching across the entire middle belt region as several parts of Benue, Plateau, Nasarawa, Southern Kaduna, Taraba and environments have come under seige in the recent past.
