The Plateau Chapter of the Labour Party LP has affirmed that Comrade Daniel Asama Ago is the officially returned candidate for Jos North/ Bassa Federal House of Representatives for the Labour party having to fulfil the requirements as stipulated by the electoral act.

State Publicity Secretary of the Party Comrade Awara James Adara during a Press Conference in Jos on Wednesday said the party’s attention has been drawn to one Solomon Maigari who is parading himself as the candidate of the party for Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency.

Adara warned Maigari to desist henceforth as Comrade Daniel Asama is the sole candidate of the party ahead of the 2023 General elections.

“The party strongly warn all person(s) parading themselves in any way claiming the same position to refrain and jettison such claims as the party would have no other option than to involve the government authorities if,

“The Party wishes its candidate Comrade Daniel Asama Ago the best in the
struggle and winning during the general election in 2023. The citizens of Jos North/Bassa Community Leaders, Stakeholders, Religious bodies and the general public should know henceforth that Comrade Daniel Asama Ago is the only LP candidate for the constituency.

The Party however call on all members, lovers and supporters of the Labour Party should continue to work for the victory of Comrade Daniel Asama Ago and all candidates of the party in the forthcoming election.
