The Bunu of Mupun chiefdom Chief Pedro Ardiyel Dafur has officially received blessings of prayers for success over his Expression of Interest/Nomination form which he obtained on Friday 06th May, 2022 at APC National Secretariat Abuja. The Service which was held at COCIN LCC Mupun Centre Lankan Pankshin LGA, the Service which started 9am in the morning, Chief Pedro Ardiyel Dafur FCA Senatorial Aspirant Plateau Central Zone in company of his beautiful wife, Children, friends and associates from different works of life came to graced the occasion. The Service was to pray for success as he kick start his journey to the Red chambers come 2023 to contest for the Plateau Central Senatorial District Seat in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

The prayer session was attended by a large crowd of supporters and APC members from the five Local Government areas of the Central Senatorial District as well others from across the State.

Speaking at the church service, Chief Pedro Ardiyel Dafur FCA Bunu Mupun thank God for the good health and strength God has given him so far. He thanked God for providing him the enablement since the time of his consultations up to the time of purchase of form. Chief Dafur said he believes absolutely that it’s God that bestowed power to whoever he likes and that is why he decided to come in supplication to Him to bless his journey to the Red Chambers come 2023. He said he will submit to the will of God because he is convinced beyond reasonable doubts that he has the experience, exposure , capacity and strength to perform exceptionally when given the opportunity.
He said, I wish to assure you that I am fully conversant with the demands of the people at the grassroot and i will effectively represent Plateau Central in the Red Chambers. He said “By the grace of God, I will do my best to ensure that i bring more dividends of democracy to the Zone and the entire State when I am elected”.

Coordinator of Chief Pedro Ardiyel Dafur FCA in Bokkos Local Government Mr. John Dakup (Shekarau) who spoke on behalf of other Coordinators from the five Local Government Areas of the Senatorial district charge the congregation, Mupun nation, party faithfuls and the body of Christ across the entire Senatorial district to pray and give him maximum support as he via for the Senatorial seat. He added that having Chief Pedro Ardiyel Dafur FCA in the Red Chambers come 2023 will serve not only the people of Central Zone, but the entire Plateau State at the National Assembly.

He charged them to remain united and work in synergy to deliver Chief Pedro in the primary and General elections.

The Leading Pastor of COCIN LCC Mupun Centre Lankan represented by Rev. Gideon Joshua express joy and happiness in like manner express confidence and said Chief Pedro Ardiyel Dafur has touched lives of many individuals including men, women, youths, children and the church. A prayer session was led for the Aspirant and the church all prayed for God’s favor to him.

Mammoth crowd of party faithfuls, family, friends and associates graced the occasion, it all ended in joyous moments of praise as different cultural troops sang and danced with the Aspirant from the church premises to his house.
