A political group known as ‘’Sule Lamido support Group Nation Wide’’ under the leadership of Hon. Sunusi Adamu Kobi has agreed to hold its general congress meeting in Jos the Plateau state capital on the 1st of April 2017 at PDP secretariat opposite NTA by 10AM prompt. In an open invitation to the general public and lovers of democracy, one of the key anchors who pleaded not to be mentioned because he was not authorised to speak on the development said, ‘’our support for Sule Lamido to govern Nigeria as our Distinguished president is unflinching. He did amazing things as a democrat in Jigawa state when he held sway as governor and we are convinced he will apply the same developmental logic to transform Nigeria. We therefore call on the good people of Plateau state to be part of this historic journey’’ he said. The meeting will be performed by Plateau state PDP chairman Hon. Damishi Sango.
Dr. Sule Lamido was a two term Governor of Jigawa state from 2007-2015 and one of the key figures jostling for the seat of Nigeria’s president in 2019 under the Platform of the People’s Democrat Party, PDP.
