The race to Plateau state Government House little Rayfield in 2019 is opening new chapters and taking new dimensions day-by-day. Feelers and analysts are beginning to shine a spotlight on how the politics will look like in 2019. Politicians, stakeholders and youth groups are springing up daily across different party lines to test the waters in the light of 2019 general elections. A political commentator in Jos, Hashim Barde, said the body language of Hon. Dalung has shown that in no distant time, he will declare his intention to contest for the governorship. When ViewPointNigeria got in touch with the Hon. Minister of youth and sports to comment on his speculated governorship ambition at some quarters, he responded thus ”My primary concern is to deliver on the burden of trust reposed on me by Mr. President. My attitude to political responsibilities is to be guided by objective realities on ground. My struggle is that leaders should be more human and responsible to the electorates. However, we are in an ICT driven society where body language magicians are in abundance. Sometimes, idleness can provoke predictions which are usually sponsored to instigate disharmony. How I wish such energies are deployed positively to advance the stability of Plateau state. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to serve the nation”.
