However, the timing of the appointment opens up speculations as to how Governor Jang may be leaning as to his choice of who occupies what positions in 2015. These speculations are rife because of the uncertainty which pervades the Plateau space by way of the lack of an indication from the powers that be, as to who may play vital roles in 2015. There is currently no firm indication that senator GNS Pwajok may be the chosen one for the Governorship position or for the senate, but there is also no indication to say that he is not. As such, political events and happening in the next few months would provide clear indications as to how things may look in the near future.

The appointed media aide, Mr. Dung is said to also be a seasoned journalist with approx.10 years working experience in both the broadcast and print media. He was also a former staff of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau state, where he doubled as research officer and personal assistant to the state chairman between 2001 and 2003. His other past roles included stints at the Leadership newspaper, The Sunrise Newspaper and the Insider Weekly Magazine.
