In a heartwarming display of commitment to education, the Educating the Rural Child Foundation Nigeria has awarded scholarships to 12 deserving students in Dokan Tofa, Shendam Local Government. The foundation, dedicated to improving access to quality education for rural children, presented the scholarships to the students through its volunteer, Yenmen Bitkop, and a few others.

The beneficiaries, who are students of Government Secondary school (GSS) Primary School and Junior Secondary School, Dokan Tofa, expressed their gratitude and excitement about the opportunity. “I am so happy to receive this scholarship. It will help me focus on my studies without worrying about school fees. Thank you, Educating the Rural Child Foundation, for believing in me!” said one of the students. Another student added, “This scholarship means everything to me. I want to become a doctor, and this support will help me achieve my dream. Thank you for giving me hope!”

The principals of the two schools commended the foundation for its efforts in supporting rural education. “We are grateful for the foundation’s support, which will go a long way in encouraging our students to pursue their educational goals,” said one of the principals. “This scholarship will not only benefit the students but also motivate others to work hard and strive for excellence. We appreciate the foundation’s commitment to rural education,” added the other principal.

Yenmen Bitkop, representing the Educating the Rural Child Foundation, emphasized the organization’s dedication to empowering rural children through education. “We believe that every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their location or background.
