1 killed in Kangang, also Bishop Benjamin Kwashi’s cattle rustled

One person in Kangang (a community behind Dadin Kowa, Jos) was last night murdered by suspected herdsmen in an ambush scenario.

The person who was returning to his home from a neighboring community was said to have been waylaid and brutally attacks with machetes.

In the same vein, Bishop Benjamin Kwashi’s residence was last night attacked by cattle rustlers, who carted away with several of his cattle. It remains unclear how many cattle were rustled, but posts from the respected cleric suggests that this is the third time such an occurrence was happening.

The Bishop lamented the insecurity that has overtaken the entire Plateau state, regretting that the curfew is as ineffectual as other actions.

Also one member of the local vigilante group who confronted the rstlers was murder.
