Plateau will remain APC State, says Hon. Komsol

Member Representing Shendam, Qua’aPan, Mikang Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives Abuja Hon. Alphonsus Komsol has stated that the large turnout of decampees and APC members at the Various Polling units ready for the ongoing APC Registration and Revalidation is an indication that Plateau State will continue to remain APC state.

Hon. Komsol stated this while formally revalidating his APC membership along side his wife Mrs Agnes at Kwapkuwa Polling Unit, Pangshon ward in Shendam Local Government Area of Plateau State where he noted that the APC in the State under the administration of Governor Simon Lalong has performed very well in the areas of Education, health care, roads and rural development.

He added that himself, Deputy Speaker House of Reps, Senator Represent Plateau South, Minister and State House of Assembly members from the Zone will work as a team with Governor Simon Lalong for the development of the State.

According to him, within his short period of representation at the National Assembly he has also done a lot in the Area of Education, health, Road construction and empowerment of his people amongst others.

He said the exercise has confirmed him and other Registered members as bonifide members of the Party which empowers them to vote and be voted for.

Komsol noted that a lot of mobilization has been done and assured that the registration booklet allocated to his Constituency would be filled in a couple of days considering the large number of people expected to Register.

The Member described the exercise as smooth and seamless and appealed to stakeholders and Party officials to conduct the exercise with all sincerity and in accordance with the guidelines issued by the National Headquarters of the Party.

Speaking earlier, Chairman of APC in Plateau State Hon. Latep Dabang noted that the Party had received a lot of decampees from 2014 to date, hence the need to have an authentic register.

He noted that the training of officials to carry out the registration and Revalidation exercise had began and described the Federal Constituency as home of the APC.

The Lawmaker was also in company of members of the Plateau State House of Assembly, APC Chairman, Party Leaders and thousands of supporters who were happily chanting APC slogan and exchanging pleasantries at the revalidation exercise.
