Plateau SEA-Hub 2022 Exhibition and competition, GSS Tudun-Wada Jos crowned champion of the year


The event which took place at Crispan Suites and Event Center had participants drawn from various secondary schools from all the 17 local government area councils in Plateau State. The activity which is sponsored by the Pro-Poor Growth and Promotion of Employment in Nigeria Programme – SEDIN and implemented by the German Cooperation for International Development (GIZ) introduced this basic entrepreneurship training for secondary schools in partner States which includes, Niger, Ogun, Edo, Lagos and Plateau.

This has been achieved through the establishment of extra-curricular Students Entrepreneurship Activity Hubs referred to as SEA-Hub. The event which had ten (10) schools competing and exhibiting their inventions, products, services and solutions at the event, contending for prizes under the following categories;
I. Most Innovative SEA-Hub Business
II. Best use of Technology
III. Most Creative Business Start-Up Plan
IV. Beat Team in Exhibition
V. Overall Best and 2nd Runner up, and
VI. Plateau State SEA-Hub Champion of the Year
The Plateau State SEA-Hub Champion of the year Award was presented to Government Secondary School, Tudun-Wada, Jos.


Present at the event were the representatives of the Commissioner of Education Plateau State, Commissioner Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, the Commissioner Youths and Sport Development and the Director General Plateau State Microfinance Development Agency (PLASMIDA). The event ended with group photographs being taken with deserving winners alongside the judges and dignitaries at the event.
