Hitches being reported across Plateau – with several card readers said to have malfunctioned in Langtang, Jos South and Pankshin local government areas.

Voters accreditation in these areas is currently on a stand still as resolutions are currently being south. 

In a separate development, President Goodluck Jonathan has just been acredited at his polling unit in Otueke, after waiting approx. 30 minutes for hitches relating to the card readers to be sorted.

Note: Voting is said to commence this afternoon at 1pm.

Hitches being reported across Plateau – with several card readers said to have malfunctioned in Langtang, Jos South and Pankshin local government areas. This is not to say that the entire areas are affected by this, but a few polling units appear to be reporting challenges.

The new story making rounds accross the country suggests that fringe problems with card readers are being encountered -it remains unclear what that would mean for the elections, but so far it appears we are headed for a challenging situation with people not being able to vote.
