Gagdi Provides ₦40m Relief Boost to Insecurity Victims in Garga

In a direct response to the hardships caused by kidnapping and banditry, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Gagdi has delivered over ₦40 million worth of relief materials to displaced and affected residents of the Garga area.
The intervention aims to provide both immediate sustenance and long-term recovery for families within the Garga in Kanam who have been hit hard by recent security challenges.
The relief effort is designed to address food security, shelter, and mobility. The breakdown of the distributed items includes:Food Supplies: 900 bags of grains (rice, beans, and maize), plus essential seasonings, vegetable oil, and salt.Shelter & Clothing: 900 bags of cement for rebuilding, 300 blankets, and over 600 pieces of high-quality fabrics (Guinea brocade and wax prints), along with dedicated clothing for children.Logistics: 5 motorcycles to aid community movement and local surveillance.
To ensure the aid reaches the hands of those truly in need, Rt. Hon. Gagdi established a verification committee led by Hon. Sadat Garga. The committee works under the direct supervision of the Senior District Head of Garga and other local traditional leaders.

Gagdi stated, emphasizing that while these items provide a lifeline, his primary focus remains on pressing the government for better protection of lives and property rep, Gagdi says
This gesture has been widely welcomed by the Jahr Progressive Development Association (JAPDA) and local residents as a vital step in healing and rebuilding a community that has shown remarkable resilience in the face of adversity
